Collaborative Law Section

We would like to thank Suzy Eckstein for her crisp and informative presentation on the MUCLA and MUCLR at the June 9th section meeting.
We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and we look forward to seeing some new and some not so new faces this year.
We are excited about the opportunities and possibilities ahead and look forward to seeing you at our next Section meeting on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, where we will focus on a review of key elements of the newly enacted Maryland Uniform Collaborative Law Act (MUCLA) and the Maryland Uniform Collaborative Law Rules (MUCLR).
Our Fall CLE, “Collaborative Law as a Viable Dispute Resolution Option for Civil Disputes”, will focus on how the Collaborative process applies to non-family law disputes. This program will be of interest to not only family law attorneys, but to those who practice in the areas of business law and litigation as well.  Now is the time to get in on this relatively new, but quickly growing practice area.
Members of Family Law, ADR, Juvenile, Business Law, Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, Estate & Trust, Education Law, Elder Law, & New Practitioners will find this program particularly useful.
